Welcome to Von der Herbstluft Kennels! Our goal is to produce intelligent, loyal, clear-headed, stable-nerved German Shepherds that are not only pleasing to the eye, but will be excellent for Sport, Search and Rescue, Police, Agility, AKC, Service dogs, Guide dogs, and that make excellent additions to any family. When buying a puppy/dog from Von der Herbstluft Kennels, the buyer is responsible for all costs associated with shipping/ground delivery for the puppy/dog.

Holding fees are deducted from the total due. I do not accept holding fees until the pregnancy is confirmed.

Holding fees are only refundable under the following circumstances:

Not enough puppies
Not enough of the right sex
Something goes wrong, such as the health of the puppy

I CANNOT HOLD A PUPPY FOR YOU WITHOUT A HOLDING FEE PAYMENT.

Your puppy will have:

1. AKC Limited registration

2. Vet-checked with our vet

3. Vaccinated against parvovirus, distemper, corona virus, hepatitis, and respiratory disease caused by adenovirus type 2 and parainfluenza. Dewormed with Pyrantel Pamoate 50 mg/ml and given monthly heartworm.

4. Beginning crate and potty training

5. Guarantee (see guarantee page on this website)

Once you have registered your puppy, you will receive an AKC Complimentary 30 day trial for their AKC Pet Healthcare Plan. (Sorry the complimentary trial is not available in New York or California due to state laws as of Dec. 2014. Please check if available in your state.) This includes a complimentary first office visit at a veterinary practice listed with the AKC Veterinary Network. (Please confirm with your vet whether they will accept the complimentary certificate prior to your first visit. You will probably receive the certificate after the visit and can request reimbursement).

I love hearing about the puppies in their new homes. If you send me a picture, video, or story about your puppy, I will assume you are giving me permission to use them on my website, unless you tell me otherwise. Pictures, videos, and stories are also welcomed on my Facebook page. Thank you!
